Interesting opportunities in Türkiye Government Education Scholarships

News Desk: Turkey is a historically rich country. The government of the country located between Europe and Asia offers some attractive scholarships every year for foreign students. One of these is Türkiye Government Scholarship or Turkiye Burslari (Türkiye Burslar).

Basically, the scholarship is given to meritorious foreign students to study in different universities of that country. Apart from the monthly stipend under this scholarship, the Turkish government bears various expenses including free tuition fee, return flight ticket, health insurance, accommodation.

The benefits of the scholarship

Free tuition fees, monthly stipend, health insurance, accommodation, round trip air ticket, one year Turkish language course.

Monthly stipend amount

Undergraduate : 3 thousand 500 Turkish lira (about 12 thousand 600 taka) per month.

Masters : 5000 Turkish lira per month (about 18 thousand 100 taka).

PhD : 6,500 Turkish Lira (about 23,500 Tk) per month.

Language : Must be proficient in English or Turkish.

Nationality : Turkish citizens or those who have lost their Turkish citizenship cannot apply for this scholarship. Besides, citizens of any other country can apply. However, students studying in any university in Turkey will not be considered for this scholarship.

Academic score

Graduation : Minimum 70 percent, Masters and Doctorate: Minimum 75 percent, Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy): Minimum 90 percent.

age limit

Undergraduate : less than 21 years, Masters: less than 30 years, Doctorate: less than 35 years.

Everything you need to apply

Any valid identity card or passport, a recent photograph of the applicant, national examination results (if any), diploma or provisional examination certificate, transcripts, international test results (GRE, GMAT, SAT etc.) should be attached if required by the designated university or educational institution. Have, Certificate of Language Proficiency (TOEFL, DELF) as applicable.

In case of PhD candidates, a research proposal and evidence of research already completed by the candidate must be submitted.

Scholarships can be applied for Undergraduate, Masters and Ph.D. Over 1000 programs in various engineering fields including (computer, biomedical engineering) biochemistry, biology, physics, food engineering, mathematics, medicine and more.
