Banshkhali, Chittagong Representative: An SSC candidate named Arkanul Islam was killed when the CNG truck carrying the candidate overturned on his way home from the SSC examination at Gandamara Bridge area in Banshkhali, Chittagong. The deceased Arkan is the son of local Jagir Ahmad. He participated in the 2024 SSC examination from Anwara Begum School and College of Gandamara Union.

The accident happened on Thursday afternoon. The injured in the accident are CNG driver Riduan Ahmad, student Umme Habiba Saima, father Fazal Karim, Habiba bint Noori, father Nurul Alam, Miftahul Jannat Jeni father Chhaber Ahmad; all of them are 2024 students of the local Anwara Begum School and College. According to eyewitnesses and locals, a truck carrying CNGT and examinees lost control when it was trying to climb over the Gandamara Bridge. One person died, and three others were injured. They went to Banskhali Adarsh ​​High School (SSC Exam Center) in the car of a local CNG driver, Riduan Ahmad. He had an accident on his way back from the exam center today. Mohammad Nurul Hakim, a member of the management council of Anwara Begum School and College, said that the 2 male students who were with him jumped and escaped, but Arkanul Islam, who was in the front seat, could not get out.

Fortunately, the girls inside are injured but will recover inshallah. Banskhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tofail Ahmed said that the body of the deceased had been rescued after receiving the news. The body of the dead will be handed over to the family after the legal process.
