Hezbollah's terrible drone and more than two hundred rocket attacks on Israel

International Desk: While the Israeli Air Force was busy attacking Iran on Saturday (October 26), Lebanon's Islamic resistance fighters, Hezbollah, launched a deadly drone and rocket attack in the northern part of Israel. Israel claimed that its air defense system shot down at least four drones flying from Lebanon. Hezbollah fighters launched rocket attacks on the western Galilee bordering Lebanon as well as the border towns of Kiryat Shmona, Metula and Telhai since early Saturday, but no injuries were reported.

In a statement, Hezbollah claimed it also carried out drone strikes on the Telnof air base south of Tel Aviv. In addition to drones, Hezbollah fired about 200 rockets into northern Israel throughout the day. Among them, 15 rockets were fired from Lebanon into the western Galilee, some of which were intercepted and others hit open areas, Israel said.

Israel did not report any casualties in the rocket attacks, but several locations in northern Israel were on fire after Hezbollah attacked them. . Israel's army-IDF claimed on Saturday that troops from its 91st Division seized four truck-mounted rocket launchers in southern Lebanon this week. The launchers were loaded with about 160 rockets.

Israeli warplanes retaliated against Hezbollah targets in Beirut. Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah ordered residents of northern Israel to evacuate for the first time. This pro-Iranian group has been carrying out continuous attacks on Israel since October 7 last year with the support of Hamas. 

In the meantime, Benjamin Netanyahu's government has evacuated at least 60,000 people from Israel's northern border for fear of Hezbollah. Hezbollah ordered residents of northern Israel to evacuate after an airstrike on Iran on Saturday (October 26).
