International Desk: The Israeli military has carried out more airstrikes in the capital Beirut and southern Lebanon. The country's authorities said several branches of a bank that supports the powerful armed group Hezbollah were also attacked. Explosions were heard in the town of Dahieh, south of Beirut. Hezbollah controls that area, as well as the Becca Valley and southern Lebanon. However, it is not yet known if anyone was injured in these attacks.

Earlier, Israel had warned the residents of 25 areas of Lebanon, 14 of which are in the capital Beirut, that they could be attacked overnight. The Israel Defense Forces said their main targets were banks and other financial infrastructure that support Hezbollah. In a statement Sunday evening, IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari warned, "Those who are with organizations that finance Hezbollah's terrorist activities must leave immediately. A few targets will be attacked in the next few hours and some will be attacked overnight.

" "In the coming days, we will reveal how Iran finances Hezbollah's terrorist activities using civil institutions, associations and NGOs," the Israeli spokesman said. According to the latest Lebanese state-owned news agency NNA, various branches of Bank Al-Qard Al-Hasan Association were attacked in various places, including the East Bekaa Valley. A branch of the bank was also attacked near Beirut's Rafik Hariri International Airport. Footage shows smoke billowing from the blast site near the airport.

Reuters reported that the bank has more than 30 branches across Lebanon. 15 of these are in the populated areas of Beirut. Israel accused the bank of financing Hezbollah. The United States also says that the bank is being used for the financial management of Hezbollah.

On the other hand, Hizbollah says that they have launched rocket attacks on military bases in Israel on Sunday as well. They also claimed to have fired at Israeli troops in southern Lebanon. The IDF said on Sunday evening that dozens of rockets had been fired into northern Israel in the past 24 hours. They also said they carried out intelligence-based attacks on an underground Hezbollah weapons workshop and the command center of Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in Beirut.

The IDF also claimed that measures were taken to minimize possible civilian casualties during these attacks. However, Hezbollah and Lebanese officials have accused Israel of targeting civilians. However, Israel has rejected those allegations.
