International Desk: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented that Hamas will never rule Gaza again. He said this on Thursday after the Palestinian independence armed group Hamas claimed to have killed Yahya Sinwar. Xinhua news agency reported this information in a report on Friday (October 18). "The man who committed the worst murder in our nation's history since the Holocaust was killed today," Netanyahu said in a video statement. Hamas will no longer rule Gaza.

"Whoever lays down his arms and surrenders himself and returns the hostages, we will release him and let him live, and whoever harms them, his blood will be on his own head," he said to those holding Israeli hostages in Gaza. Netanyahu called on the people of the region to "stop the axis of evil and build a future of peace and prosperity for the entire region.

\" Meanwhile, Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Galant said on social media platform X, "The killing of Sinwar is a clear message to the families of the martyred soldiers and the abductors that we are doing everything and we will continue to do so." The Israel Defense Forces and Israeli security agencies jointly confirmed on Thursday that Hamas leader Sinwar was killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. However, Hamas has not confirmed Sinwar's death.

Incidentally, the main leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, was killed in an Israeli attack in Rafah, Gaza last Wednesday. However, the occupying Israeli forces did not know that they had killed Sinwar. Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz later claimed that the Hamas leader had been killed in an Israeli attack after various tests on Thursday.

Israeli media Channel-12 reported that Israeli soldiers saw some Hamas fighters entering a building in Rafah, Gaza last Wednesday. Then orders were given to attack there. After the attack, when the army went there, they found a total of three dead bodies, including a soldier who looked like Sinwar. Then on Thursday, it was confirmed that the body belonged to Sinwar.
