International Desk: Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has been given a deadline to resign by October 28 by MPs of his party, the Liberal Party of Canada. Trudeau's MPs held a closed-door meeting in Canada's parliament on Wednesday local time. There they expressed anger at Trudeau's actions.

The meeting outlined Trudeau's resignation. However, it has not been mentioned what the consequences will be if Trudeau does not resign by this time. According to media reports, 24 MPs of the Liberal Party wrote a letter demanding Trudeau's resignation. There they gave an ultimatum - Trudeau must resign by October 28.

Trudeau has served as the Prime Minister of Canada for 9 consecutive years. During this time he gradually lost popularity. In this situation, his own party is calling for his resignation. A general election is scheduled to be held in Canada in October next year.

Relations between Canada and India hit rock bottom over the killing of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. It is not easy to predict where the end of this ongoing crisis between the two countries will reach. If Justin Trudeau wins re-election, it is unlikely that his position on India will change.
