International Desk: The Israeli army has faced disaster again while carrying out the invasion in Lebanon. In one night, five more Israeli soldiers, including officers, were killed in an attack by Hezbollah fighters. Besides, at least 19 soldiers were injured. Many of them are in serious condition. The casualty happened on Thursday night. The Times of Israel reported this information on Friday (October 25).

The deceased are Major and Deputy Battalion Commander of the Reserve Forces Dan Maori (43), Captain Alon Safari (28), Warrant Officer Omri Lotan (47), Warrant Officer Gue Idan ( 51), Master Sergeant Tom Segal (28). These soldiers are members of the 89th Battalion of the 8th Armored Brigade. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the soldiers were receiving a shipment of military equipment in a village in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah fighters launched a missile attack on the building they were in.

The equipment supply fleet was also damaged in the attack. Of the 19 injured, four are in critical condition. As a result, the number of casualties may increase. According to the Times of Israel, a reserve soldier was also seriously injured in an attack by Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon this morning. According to Israeli media, at least 22 Israeli soldiers were injured in the last 24 hours. Of these, 19 were wounded in Lebanon and three in the Gaza Strip by Hamas attacks.

Hezbollah's media office claimed they had killed 70 Israeli soldiers so far. In addition, more than six hundred soldiers were injured in the counter attack. On the other hand, Hezbollah has demanded the destruction of 28 world-famous Marakava tanks and a number of equipment and sophisticated Hermes drones. The armed group intensified its war with the Israeli forces after the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrullah at the end of last month.

They vowed to oust Israeli forces from Lebanon in disgrace. At the same time, it has also said that the attack will not stop unless the war in Gaza is stopped. Former Israeli Justice Minister Yossi Beilin admitted that public life has been disrupted by Hezbollah's missile and drone attacks on Israeli cities. Meanwhile, the US administration is trying to stop the war in Gaza and Lebanon. Al-Jazeera reported that Israeli and US intelligence officials will soon go to Qatar to discuss this issue.
