Arrested 2 with heroin worth Tk 3 lakh in Manikganj

Manikganj Correspondent:  The District Intelligence Branch (DB) has arrested two people with heroin worth Tk 3 lakh from Saturia Upazila in Manikganj. Inspector (Unarmed) Abul Kalam, in-charge of District Intelligence Branch, Manikganj confirmed the matter in a press release on Sunday (April 21) evening.

The arrested are Md Abdullah Al Mamun (33) son of Md Shawkat Ali and Md Farooq Hossain (32) son of Md Khokon of Nandeshwari Guchchagram area of ​​Saturia in the district.

According to the press release, a raiding team of Manikganj Intelligence Branch, DB, led by SI Bakhtiar Hossain, conducted an operation and seized 30 (thirty) grams of heroin from the defendants along with 30 (thirty) grams of heroin estimated at Tk.

Several cases are pending in the learned court against accused No. 1. In this regard, 1 case is pending in Saturia police station.
