2 traders fined for selling goods without receipt in Chittagong

Chittagong correspondent:  2 businessmen have been fined for the crime of selling goods without receipt in a mobile operation in Chittagong.

Today, Saturday (April 20) at 3 pm, Khatunganez 2 businessmen were fined 10,000 taka by the mobile court.

It is known that Baklia Circle Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate conducted the operation. Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner AF M Shamim led the operation. Officials of the Department of Agriculture and Marketing and the police team of Kotyali police station were in the operation.

According to the Agricultural Marketing Act-2018, two business establishments were fined Tk 10,000 for the crime of selling goods without receipt. Chittagong district administration sources said that after Eid, the prices of daily necessities including onions are increasing and common people are eating Himsim, so this campaign is conducted as a market control activity of the district administration.
