Arrested with a large amount of drugs from truck tires in Kurigram 3

Kurigram Correspondent: In Kurigram, the police arrested 3 people with a large quantity of drugs inside the tire of a truck. According to the police, on the morning of Wednesday (October 25), a smart team of Kurigram police station, on the basis of secret information, was running the police check post on the east side of Dharla bridge under Kurigram police station, when the Nageshwari-Kurigram bound truck gave a signal, the drug dealers inside the truck fled. Karbari Md. Shahidul Islam (53), Md. Saiful Islam (32) of Durgapur Jaikrishnapur Municipality and Md. Zakir Hossain (30) of Durgapur Devipur area were arrested and after searching their truck, they found 17 kg 800 gm ganja and 15 bottles of ganja fitted inside the wheels of the truck. Fensidil was recovered and the truck used to transport the drug was seized.

Kurigram District Police Media Spokesperson Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Ruhul Amin said that the arrested drug dealers cleverly tried to transport drugs by fitting inside the wheel of the truck in a novel manner. But their plan failed due to intelligence surveillance and smart action of Kurigram district police. In this regard, 1 case has been registered under the Narcotics Control Act at Kurigram Sadar Police Station against the drug dealer, transport driver. If anyone else is involved in this, the district police is conducting an operation to bring them under the law. Our campaign to eliminate drugs will continue regularly.
