3 arrested including mastermind of theft in Ulipur, stolen goods recovered

Kurigram Correspondent:  The police recovered the goods and arrested 3 people including the mastermind of the theft after breaking the lock of the house in Ulipur of Kurigram. The police said that on the night of October 18, Md. Shah Jahan Hossaini of Purba Bazaar area of ​​Ulipur municipality locked the door and gate of his house and all the family members went to the barracks. The sister goes to the area to attend her son-in-law's funeral.

The next day they came back to their house and found that the lock of the gate and the lock of the room were broken and the furniture of the house was messed up and their various belongings were not in the house. Later, after the case was registered in the name of unknown thieves of Ulipur police station, immediately a vigilant team of Ulipur police station got the information of suspicious movement around the house of some people after asking the local people to investigate the case.

On the basis of that information, Md. Faruk Hossain (32), Md. Khokon Mia (42) of Jonaidanga village under Ulipur Municipality and Md. A. Hakim (48) of Doberpar area of ​​Hatia Union were arrested in the investigation of Ulipur police station.

And according to their information, 1 stolen small water pump, 1 gas stove, 1 small red bicycle, 2 LED monitors, 1 gas cylinder, 1 gold ring, 2 blankets, 1 stabilizer, 1 water filter, 1 blender, 13 melamine plates were recovered. On Saturday (October 21) afternoon, Ulipur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Golam Mortuza said that the arrested accused are active members of the inter-district thief gang. They have been sent to jail by the learned court.
