Removal of illegally placed seals on Chatmohar

Pabna Correspondent: The local administration has removed the illegally installed stone dam at Chatmohar in Pabna. On Saturday (September 23), the illegal stone dam installed at Pakpara Kata Gang of Handyal Union of the upazila was removed. At the same time, seized nets were burnt in public. It is known that upazila executive officer and executive magistrate. Reduanul Halim raided and removed the nets and burnt the seized nets in front of the public. 

Senior upazila fisheries officer Md. Abdul Matin, fish farm manager Abdul Khalek and police members of Handial Police Investigation Center were present at this time. Some influential people in the area are involved in killing native fishes by illegally damming the Ganges cut by Handyal, obstructing the drainage of water. The Upazila Nirbahi Officer conducted the operation after receiving the information.
