The SSC exam of 2027 will be held this year: Education Minister

News Desk: In order to resolve the session congestion in the education system of the country, the SSC and equivalent exams of 2027 will be held before the scheduled time, i.e. in December of this year, said the Minister of Education Dr. Ehsanul Haq Milon.

The Minister of Education told reporters after the meeting on the policy regarding the transfer of teachers and employees of MPO-affiliated educational institutions at the secretariat on Saturday (April 25).

Ehchanul Haque Milan said, 'We are determined to remove the curse of session congestion from the lives of students. This decision has been taken to restore the normal rhythm of the examination schedule which was disrupted in the post-corona period and due to various political situations. We want to finish the SSC exam of 2027 in December this year.'

The Minister said that the Higher Secondary (HSC) examination of 2027 will also be brought forward for the same reason. However, he did not say anything about when the HSC examination can start.

Earlier, the minister held a meeting with the senior officials of the ministry regarding the long-standing demand of the teachers under MPO, 'transfer policy'. He said, the new policy will be implemented quickly to make the transfer process of teachers more transparent and people-friendly.
