1 lakh 33 thousand pieces of Yaba and 3 drug dealers were arrested in Teknaf

Cox's Bazar representative:  RAB-15: Members of Cox's Bazar recovered 130 thousand pieces of Yaba in a separate operation in Teknaf. During this time, three traffickers were arrested, including two women. Senior Assistant Director (Law and Media) Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Abu Salam Chowdhury said that the RAB raided the residence of a deceased Oli Ahmad in Lezirpara area of ​​Ward No. 5 of Sabrang Union of Teknaf Upazila on Monday night on September 25. 15 members conduct special anti-narcotics operations.

A woman named Rozina Akhtar (30) was arrested while trying to escape from the house. After searching the arrested woman's body and residence, 100,000 pieces of Yaba tablets were recovered from the white plastic bag under the bed. 

The arrested woman is the daughter of the deceased Oli Ahmed of Sabrang Lezirpara and the wife of Hafiz Ullah. On the other hand, a smart raiding team of RAB-15 Cox's Bazar CPSC conducted a special anti-narcotics operation in East Maheshkhalia Para area of ​​Hoikung Union of Teknaf Upazila at 4 am on Tuesday, September 26. by doing

At that time, Md Jahed Hossain (37), son of deceased Mohammad Hossain of Unchiprang village, Ward No. 3, Hoikung Union, Teknaf Upazila, and Elem Bahar (45), wife of Abdul Aziz of Ward No. 8, East Maheshkhalia Para, were arrested while trying to escape.

Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Abu Salam Chowdhury confirmed that 33 thousand pieces of Yaba tablets, 55 thousand taka in cash for drug sales, 3 button mobile phones and 4 SIM cards were recovered after searching their bodies and accompanying bags. 

He also said that a written statement has been submitted to Teknaf Model Police Station to take necessary legal action against the arrested and absconding drug dealers along with the recovered evidence.
