News Desk: In the last 24 hours, six more children have died with measles symptoms across the country. During the same period, 691 people were affected by measles and measles symptoms. This information was disclosed in the regular measles report of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) today (Saturday, July 25).

​According to the press release, six more children died with measles symptoms in the country over the last 24 hours. However, no child died from confirmed measles during this time.

​With this, a total of 721 children have died with measles symptoms across the country from March 15 until now. Additionally, 95 more children have lost their lives to confirmed measles. That brings the total number of children who have died from measles and measles symptoms during this period to 816.

​Furthermore, 78 children were infected with measles in the last 24 hours, while the number of patients with measles symptoms stood at 613. During this time, 581 children were newly admitted to hospitals, and 479 children were discharged.

​According to DGHS data, from March 15 to date, the total number of suspected measles cases is 122,763, while the number of confirmed measles cases is 15,272. Out of these, a total of 105,298 patients were admitted to hospitals, of whom 101,535 have received discharge and returned home.
