Sanju Roy, Bogra: The police arrested four people with 2 kg of ganja after setting up a check post in Shivganj of Bogra. Three women are also among those arrested. Earlier, police arrested them in an operation led by Incharge (Inspector) Ashiq Iqbal of Mokamtala Police Investigation Center in Muradpur area of ​​Rangpur-Bogra highway on Monday at quarter past 2. The arrested are Sumon Pramanik, son of Santahare Azad of Adamdighi upazila of Bogra district, Rekha Begum, wife of Sumon, Taslima Begum, wife of Anshar Ali and Aduri Begum, wife of Abdul Hakim of Nandigram upazila. Mokamtala Police Investigation Center Incharge (Inspector) Ashiq Iqbal confirmed the matter He said that on the basis of secret information, a check post was set up in Muradpur of the upazila and a search was conducted. 2 kg of ganja was recovered in a raid on a bus from Kuridham to Dhaka around 2:15 a.m. last night. Four people including three women were arrested. A case has been filed against them at Shibganj police station under the Narcotics Act Inspector Ashiq also said that all the arrested are professional drug dealers. They were going to Dhaka from Kurigram to sell ganja.
