Javed Iqbal Chowdhury, Cox's Bazar: 22 people including Rohingya were detained while preparing to go to Malaysia in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar. Today (September 20) they were arrested from the residence of Jamal Uddin in the bus terminal area around 6:30 pm on Tuesday. 15 Bangladeshis and 7 Rohingya nationals are said to be among those detained. Police and BGB conducted this joint operation based on secret information. However, it was not possible to know their names immediately. A trusted source in the law enforcement agencies confirmed this information. Meanwhile, Teknaf Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Hafizur Rahman confirmed that details will be given later.
