The drug dealer was arrested from Gorai area of ​​Mirzapur upazila on the night of June 11. The arrested drug dealer Gouranga Goswami (29) is the son of Nab Goswami of Garamasi village in Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj district. Company Commander Mohammad Anisuzzaman of RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail confirmed the matter through a press release on Sunday (June 12). According to the press release, an expedition team led by RAB-12, CPC-3, Tangail Company Commander Mohammad Anisuzzaman and Squad Commander ASP Md. Ershadur Rahman on the basis of secret information at around 1.30 pm on June 11. Conducted the operation on the paved road in front of the counter. During the operation, drug dealer Gouranga Goswami, 29, son of Nab Goswami of Garamasi village in Belkuchi upazila of Sirajganj district was arrested. At that time, 2 mobile phones including 2360 pieces of yaba were recovered from him. The estimated value of the seized yaba is 5 lakh 95 thousand rupees. RAB-12 has filed a case against the arrested accused at Mirzapur Police Station under Section 10 (b) of Section 37 (1) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2016.
