1,056 Hospitalized with Dengue, 2 Deaths

News Desk: Two people have died from dengue across the country in the last 24 hours. During the same period, 1,056 people infected with dengue have been admitted to hospitals in different parts of the country.

The information was disclosed in a dengue-related press release sent by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday (September 12).

It said that among the dengue patients admitted to hospitals in the last 24 hours, 144 are from Barishal Division, 103 from Chattogram Division, 251 from Dhaka Division (outside the city corporation areas), 108 from Dhaka North City Corporation, 76 from Dhaka South City Corporation, 199 from Khulna Division, 48 from Mymensingh Division, 73 from Rajshahi Division, 47 from Rangpur Division, and 7 from Sylhet Division.

With this, 143 people have died this year. During this period, 50,276 people have been admitted to hospitals after being infected with dengue.
