Transfer of Eight Senior Police Officials

News Desk: Eight senior officers of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been transferred and assigned new posts. All of them hold the ranks of Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Commissioner.

On Thursday, October 9, DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali, NDC, issued three separate orders regarding these postings.

Among the officers, Molla Mohammad Shaheen, Deputy Commissioner (In-Charge) of the Crime Command and Control Center, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner (In-Charge) of the Detective Branch, and Md. Sumon Mia, Deputy Commissioner of POM-South Division, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner (In-Charge) of POM-North Division.

Meanwhile, S. A. M. Fazl-e-Khuda, Additional Deputy Commissioner of POM-West Division, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner at the Crime Command and Control Center under the Operations Division. Sagar Dipa Biswas, Additional Deputy Commissioner of PR & HRD Division, has been transferred to POM-South Division as Additional Deputy Commissioner. Rubel Haque, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Wari Zone under the Metropolitan Police Wari Division, has been posted to the Detective Branch as Additional Deputy Commissioner. Md. Nur Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner of the Crime Command and Control Center under the Operations Division, has also been transferred to the Detective Branch as Additional Deputy Commissioner.

Additionally, Md. Sohel Rana, Assistant Commissioner of Traffic-Badda Zone under Traffic-Gulshan Division, has been posted as Assistant Commissioner of Wari Zone, and AKM Mehedi Hasan, Assistant Commissioner of DMP, has been assigned to the Crime Command and Control Center under the Operations Division as Assistant Commissioner.
