Crime conference held on the final day of Police Week

The Crime Conference was held on Wednesday (May 13) morning at the Bangladesh Police Auditorium in Rajarbagh Police Lines as part of the first session on the fourth and final day of Police Week 2026.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Bangladesh, Mr. Md. Ali Hossain Fakir, presided over the event.

At the conference, DIG (Crime Management) Mr. Abu Sufian presented an overview of the overall crime situation in the country.

Later, Additional IGP of Special Branch Mr. Sardar Nurul Amin, Additional IGP of CID Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, and Additional IGP of PBI Mr. Mostafa Kamal presented the overall activities of their respective agencies. Senior officials of Bangladesh Police were also present on the occasion.
