Own Reporter: The government has appointed Additional IGP Mosleh Uddin Ahmad, head of the Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID), as the new Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
On Sunday (May 17), this duty was given in a notification signed by the Deputy Secretary of Police-1 Branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Toushif Ahmed.
It is said in the notification, this order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.
