Algerian Ambassador Expresses Algeria’s Solidarity with Flood-Affected People in Bangladesh

Diplomatic Correspondent: Algerian Ambassador to Bangladesh, H.E. Dr. Abdelouahab Saïdani, distributed relief supplies among flood-affected and vulnerable families in Satkania upazila of Chattogram and Matarbari in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday. The programme in Satkania was held at Keochia Muzaherul Haque Islamia Dakhil Madrasa in Keochia Union at around 11:30 a.m. During the distribution, Ambassador Saïdani personally handed over relief bags containing essential supplies and conveyed the sympathy, compassion and solidarity of the Algerian people to the people of Bangladesh affected by the recent flooding.

Following the programme in Chattogram, Ambassador Saïdani travelled to Matarbari, Cox’s Bazar, where he distributed further relief supplies among affected families. His visits demonstrated Algeria’s empathy for the Bangladeshi people and its commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during humanitarian emergencies. The initiative also reflected the longstanding friendship between Algeria and Bangladesh, while the affected residents expressed their sincere appreciation for the Ambassador’s compassionate and timely assistance.
