21 more people died in the country in Corona, 2111 identified

News Desk: 21 people have died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus (Covid-19). Among them 14 are males and 8 are females. All died at the hospital. The total death toll from the virus stood at 6,275.

Wednesday (November 18) in the afternoon, Additional Director General of the Department of Health, Prof. This information was given in a notification signed by Nasima Sultana.

In the last 24 hours, 15,598 samples were collected in 116 laboratories and 16,589 samples were tested. The total number of sample tests stood at 25 lakh 79 thousand 421. Within 24 hours, another 2,111 new cases of coronavirus were identified. The total number of identified patients in the country stood at four lakh 37 thousand 975 people.

In the last 24 hours, 1,793 people, including asymptomatic patients, have recovered in different hospitals and homes in the country, including the capital. So far, a total of 3 lakh 54 thousand 6 people have recovered.

According to the notification, in the last 24 hours, the detection rate is 18.95 percent considering the sample test and the recovery rate considering the detection is 70.8 percent. In addition, the identified death rate is one point 43 percent.

Of the total 8,275 people killed in Corona, 4,626 were males (7.92 per cent) and 1,447 were females (23.06 per cent).

Analysis of the age of the dead in Corona showed that of the 21 people killed in the last 24 hours, one was under the age of ten, one was in his thirties, six were in his fifties and 13 were over 60 years of age. Among them there are 13 in Dhaka division, three in Chittagong, one in Rajshahi, two in Khulna, one in Barisal and one in Rangpur division.
