Dinajpur Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached the grassroots level of health services, Jatiya Sangsad Whip Iqbalur Rahim MP said, now people of the country do not have to apply for visa for treatment abroad. All types of medical services are provided in the country.

Jatiya Sangsad Whip Iqbalur Rahim MP inaugurated the newly constructed OPD cum Star building of Dinajpur 250-bed General Hospital on Saturday morning. About 11 kt has been spent on it. He hoped that Sadar Hospital would soon be upgraded from 250 beds to 500 beds.

Civil Surgeon Dr. AHM Berhan-ul-Islam Siddiqui, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Abdullah Al Mamun, Superintendent of 250 Shariah General Hospital Dr. Fazlur Rahman, Resident Medical Officer, General Secretary of the District Branch of Independence Medical Council, Dr. Parvez Sehal Rana, BMA were present. District committee president Dr. Wares Ali Sarkar, Swachip district branch president Dr. Mamnul Haque, former superintendent of 250-bed general hospital Dr. Ahad Ali and others.

Chief guest Whip Iqbalur Rahim MP said that since Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina came to power, medical services have reached the people. Medicines will be given free of charge to the patients. Community clinics were closed during the previous BNP-Jamaat coalition government. People died due to lack of treatment. Bangabandhu's daughter is working tirelessly to improve health services.

He mentioned the time during the corona virus, when many developed countries of the world did not get the corona vaccine. Just then, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government administered free vaccines to protect the people of the country.
