In 24 hours, 16 more people were diagnosed with corona

News desk:   In the last 24 hours, no one has died due to corona in the country. So far, 29 thousand 493 people have died due to corona virus in the country. 16 people were newly identified on this day. In total, the number of infected people stands at 20 lakh 49 thousand 611 people.

This information was informed in a press release about Corona sent by the Department of Health on Friday (April 05).   

308 samples were tested in 24 hours in 885 labs under government and private management across the country. So far 1 crore 56 lakh 81 thousand 712 samples have been tested.

It is said that 25 people including asymptomatic patients have recovered in the last 24 hours in various hospitals and homes of the country including Dhaka City. A total of 20 lakh 17 thousand nine people have recovered so far.

In the last 24 hours, the detection rate of sample testing is 5.19 percent. So far, considering the sample test, the detection rate is 13.07 percent. The recovery rate for detection is 98.41 percent and the death rate for detection is 1.44 percent.

It further informed that no one has come to isolation in the last 24 hours and no one has been discharged from isolation. So far, 4 lakh 52 thousand 959 people have come under isolation and 4 lakh 23 thousand 709 people have been released from isolation. Currently 29 thousand 250 people are in isolation.

According to the information of the Department of Health, the first patient of corona virus was detected in the country on March 8, 2020. 10 days later, on March 18, the first person died due to corona.
