Providing free eye care in Ulipur

Kurigram Representative:  Free eye services provided in Ulipur of Kurigram. On Monday (April 22) noon, 140 eye patients of Dalit community and seniors were provided free of charge consultation and medicine and spectacles at Thankurbari Ramkrishna Ashram premises of Dhamsreni Union of Upazila in the organization of Ulipur Maryam Eye Hospital and with the support of Site Services.
It is learned that among the Dalit community and elderly people who have cataracts through the examination, they will be provided with free cataract surgery along with essential medicines and dark glasses. Ramakrishna Ashram is in full support of the free eye care program.
At this time, the medical officer of Maryam Eye Hospital was present. Feroz Ahmed, Senior Refractionist Prahelika, Program Coordinator Aurobindo Roy, Ramakrishna Ashram General Secretary Sudipta Dev Dhrub etc.
