International Desk: There has been a terrible landslide on the Madan-sheltered highway in Nepal. Two passenger buses were thrown into the Trishuli river. According to the Indian news agency ANI, at least 63 people are missing in this accident.
The incident happened around 4 am local time on Friday (July 12). News from Hindustan Times. Chief District Officer of Chitwan Indradev Yadav told ANI that the buses were plying on the highway when the landslide caused them to fall off the road into the river below.
Yadav said, according to preliminary information, there were a total of 63 passengers including the driver in the two buses. Buses were swept away by the landslide around 4 am.

Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has ordered all government agencies to rescue the passengers. Meanwhile, all flights from Kathmandu to Bharatpur have been canceled due to bad weather conditions.
The administration has issued a warning to travel by road. 62 people have already been killed and 90 injured in Nepal due to incessant rains and flooding in the last few weeks. More than a thousand families have been displaced.
