Consumer penalty for regular raids in Panchagarh

Panchagarh Correspondent: Assistant Director of Panchagarh Office of National Consumer Protection Directorate Paresh Chandra Barman conducted the operation as part of regular market monitoring. 2 thousand to Ma Amena Medicine Corner for keeping physician samples and price tampering, 2 thousand to Russell Traders for not keeping price list, physician A total fine of 6 thousand taka was imposed and collected on Alam Pharmacy for keeping the sample, including 2 thousand taka.

These operations were conducted in different markets of Debiganj upazila on Monday (September 11). During the campaign, Paresh Chandra Barman, assistant director of the Panchagarh office of the Directorate of Consumer Rights Protection, told the traders that the campaign will continue to ensure consumer rights. A team of district police along with the upazila sanitary inspector was present at the time.
