News Desk: U.S. President Donald Trump has commented that Iran is now giving much more importance to discussions with the United States. Speaking to reporters at the White House on Friday (July 24) local time, he made this remark. Middle East Eye reported the news.
Trump stated that he has not yet made a final decision regarding launching a large-scale military strike against Iran.
He further mentioned that discussions are ongoing and that Iran is now placing much more emphasis on talks with the United States.
In response to a question about whether a decision on a major military operation had been made, Trump said, "No, I haven't made a decision yet."
He added, "We're talking to them right now. I think they're getting more and more serious as the days go by, for maybe the obvious reason."
Earlier, the U.S. media outlet Axios reported that U.S. President Donald Trump was seriously considering launching fresh attacks on Iran. He claimed that if this operation occurs, it could be larger than 'Operation Epic Fury'.
He said, "A final decision hasn't been made yet. But preparations for a major attack are ready."
He stated, "I am considering a massive attack. Bigger than ever before. I am close to making a decision. We are all set for it."
However, two U.S. officials told Axios that no final decision has been made yet and no new military orders have been issued. Trump also did not specify a exact deadline for making the decision.
