More Than 43 Million People Attend Khamenei's Funeral and Farewell Ceremony, Breaking All Previous Records

More than 43 million people reportedly attended the funeral and farewell ceremonies of Iran's former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, breaking all previous attendance records. According to the report, between 41 million and over 43 million mourners took part in the unprecedented six-day procession held across several cities in Iran and Iraq. Iranian authorities have described it as the largest public gathering and funeral in human history.

According to Fars News Agency, the farewell ceremonies and burial were held in Tehran, Qom, Najaf, Karbala, and Mashhad. Iraq's Prime Minister's Office reportedly confirmed that nearly 10 million people attended the ceremonies in Najaf and Karbala alone.

The report further claims that Khamenei and his family were killed in what it describes as a U.S. terrorist attack in February. Following a period of mourning, the official farewell ceremonies reportedly began last Friday, with political leaders from more than 45 countries and scholars and representatives from over 90 countries in attendance.

The report also claims that the estimated attendance was verified through transportation records, mobile signal analysis, and assessments by various independent sources.
