Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh Opens Top Thai Brands 2026 to Promote Thailand–Bangladesh Economic Cooperation

Staff Correspondent: Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh, delivered remarks at the opening ceremony of Top Thai Brands 2026, held in Dhaka from 23 to 25 July 2026 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon. The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, Minister of Commerce of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest, together with the diplomatic corps, representatives from the public and private sectors and members of the business communities of Thailand and Bangladesh.

‎In her opening remarks, the Ambassador highlighted Top Thai Brands as an important platform that connects Thai exporters with Bangladeshi importers, distributors and consumers, creating opportunities to expand trade and investment while fostering confidence and long-term economic cooperation between the two countries. She also underscored the strengths of Thai products and services, which have earned international recognition for their quality, high standards and value for money. The Ambassador further highlighted Thailand's strengths in healthcare and medical wellness services, with representatives from leading Thai hospitals participating in this year's exhibition.
‎The Ambassador also noted the important role of Thai businesses that have continued to invest and operate in Bangladesh, reflecting their confidence in the country's economic potential. She reaffirmed Thailand's commitment to being a reliable and trusted economic partner of Bangladesh and expressed confidence that there remains considerable scope for expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, healthcare and innovation for the mutual benefit of the peoples of both countries.
