Dhaka, June 21 (CNI): Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has left Dhaka for an official visit to Malaysia and China.
He departed at 3:50 PM on Sunday (June 21) for Malaysia on a regular Bangladesh Biman flight (BG-386) from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Earlier at 2:20 PM, he left his residence in Gulshan and completed the necessary official formalities at the airport before departure.
The flight subsequently took off for Malaysia as scheduled. After completing the Malaysia visit, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to visit China.The visit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations, trade and investment, labour markets, infrastructure development, and enhancing mutual cooperation between the countries. At the airport, Local Government Minister and party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, along with senior officials, saw him off.
