India-Bangladesh Ties Discussed as High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi Meets President

Diplomatic Correspondent: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Shri Dinesh Trivedi paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh President H.E. Mr. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at Bangabhaban on Tuesday.

During the meeting, High Commissioner Trivedi conveyed his warm greetings to the President and wished him success in his continued service to the people of Bangladesh.

The discussion highlighted the deep-rooted bonds between India and Bangladesh, built on a shared history, close cultural ties and strong people-to-people relations.

Both sides emphasised the importance of further strengthening the bilateral partnership between the two sovereign countries for the mutual benefit and well-being of their peoples.
