Prime Minister Calls for Building a Peaceful Country by Following the Ideals of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

News Desk: On the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), Prime Minister Tarek Rahman has called for establishing justice and humanitarian values in personal, family, social and state life by following the ideals of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) of peace, justice, compassion, forgiveness and humanity.

In a message issued on Tuesday on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that following the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) can help build a peaceful, just and welfare-oriented society.

He said the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a unique and glorious event in the history of human civilization. His emergence opened a new horizon of truth and light for humanity. Alongside calling people toward monotheism, he taught the principles of truth, justice, equality, brotherhood, humanity and peace. His life and deeds remain an eternal guide and exemplary model for all humanity.

Extending his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to Muslims across Bangladesh and the wider Muslim Ummah on Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), the Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for sending Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the final Prophet and Messenger and Rahmatul-lil-Alamin (mercy to all the worlds), for the guidance and welfare of humanity.

Citing Verse 21 of Surah Al-Ahzab of the Holy Quran, he said the life of the Prophet (PBUH) was a living embodiment of the teachings of the Holy Quran. He set an unparalleled example of truthfulness, trustworthiness, justice, forgiveness, tolerance, compassion and altruism.

Tarek Rahman said the Prophet (PBUH) emphasized human dignity and rights beyond divisions of race, ethnicity, tribe, language and social status. He taught people to be responsible and compassionate toward orphans, the poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged. He also placed particular emphasis on protecting the rights of families, neighbours, women, children and marginalized members of society.

According to the Prime Minister, the Prophet’s teachings strengthen bonds of brotherhood, harmony and mutual responsibility rather than division among people.

He said the world is currently facing various crises and challenges, with wars, conflicts, violence, inequality, intolerance and moral decline disrupting people’s peace, security and normal lives. In such circumstances, the Prophet’s teachings of peace, justice, compassion, forgiveness and humanity are highly relevant.

The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of keeping the younger generation away from drugs, terrorism, extremism and crime while nurturing them with knowledge, creativity, morality, humanity and patriotism. He said the Prophet’s life and ideals can inspire young people to remain committed to truth and justice and play responsible roles in society and the country.

He further said the Prophet’s teachings are significant not only for the religious and spiritual lives of Muslims but also for the development of human and moral values. His ideals should be reflected in personal conduct, family life, and social behavior.

Concluding his message, the Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah for the ability to follow the life, teachings, and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He also prayed for the establishment of peace, justice, equality, prosperity, and humanity in Bangladesh and around the world.

The Prime Minister extended his heartfelt greetings and congratulations to the people of Bangladesh and the entire Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
