United States Congratulates Mirza Fakhrul as President

News Desk: The United States has congratulated Bangladesh’s newly elected President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

On Saturday (August 22), the US Embassy in Dhaka congratulated Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on assuming office as the 23rd President of Bangladesh in a message.

The message said that the United States looks forward to working with President Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and the Government of Bangladesh to further strengthen the bilateral partnership between the two countries.

The message also reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to further advancing the continued development, mutual cooperation, and partnership between the United States and Bangladesh.
