News Desk: President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called on people to reject hatred, hostility, division and injustice and work toward building a just society and state based on peace, harmony, equality and humanity, inspired by the ideals of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

In a message, the President said the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was one of the greatest and most transformative events in human history.

He said the Prophet (PBUH) came as a messenger of welfare and salvation for all humanity, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or community. Through him, Islam was established as a religion of peace based on equality, brotherhood and humanity, following the revelation of the Holy Quran as a complete guide for human life.

Referring to the Quran, the President noted that Allah praised the Prophet’s character, stating: “Indeed, you are of great moral character.” (Surah Al-Qalam, 4).

He said Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) set an unparalleled example of truth, justice, forgiveness, compassion and respect for human dignity throughout his life. He also established the rights of orphans, the poor, the vulnerable and the deprived, while providing clear guidance on the rights of women, children, neighbours and working people.

The President said the Prophet’s Farewell Sermon, which emphasized human dignity, rights, equality, justice and mutual responsibility, remains universally relevant and should be followed by all humanity.

“Amid a world devastated by war, conflict, violence, inequality and intolerance, the Prophet’s ideals of peace, justice, tolerance, love and humanity are more relevant than ever,” President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said.

On the occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, he urged everyone to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s teachings, abandon hatred, hostility, division and injustice, and pledge to build a just society and state founded on peace, harmony, equality and humanity.

He also prayed that Allah would grant everyone the ability to follow the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and shower Bangladesh and people across the world with mercy, blessings, peace and prosperity.
