Coronavirus: 18 more deaths in the country, identified 1699

News Desk: 18 people have died in the last 24 hours due to coronavirus (Covid-19). Among them 15 are men and one is a woman. Fifteen people died at the hospital and one at home. The death toll from the virus rose to 6,106.

In the last 24 hours, 13,617 samples were collected and 13,520 samples were tested in 115 laboratories to detect coronavirus. At the same time, another 1,899 new cases of corona were identified. As a result, the total number of identified patients in the country stood at four lakh 23 thousand 720 people. So far, the total number of sample tests stood at 24 lakh 60 thousand 164.

Tuesday (November 10) in the afternoon, the Additional Director General of the Department of Health (Administration), Professor. This information was given in a notification signed by Nasima Sultana.

In the last 24 hours, 1,646 people have recovered. With this, the total number of healthy people stood at three lakh 41 thousand 417 people.

Compared to the sample test in 24 hours, the patient identification rate is 12.56 percent and so far the patient identification rate is 16.15 percent compared to the sample test. The recovery rate was 80.59 percent and the mortality rate was 1.44 percent.

Of the total deaths in Corona so far, 4,603 were males (8 percent) and 1,405 were females (23 percent).

The age-based analysis showed that out of the 18 people who died in Corona in the last 24 hours, two were in their forties, two in their fifties and 12 in their sixties.

According to the department, out of 18 people killed in Corona in the last 24 hours, 10 are in Dhaka division, three in Chittagong, one in Rajshahi, one in Khulna and one in Barisal.
