Alternative method to be arranging for students’ promotion amid pandemic: Dipu Moni

CNI Desk: Education minister Dr Dipu Moni has sought proposal on the alternative method for the promotion of the candidates of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination and other secondary level examinations in different educational institutions, if the coronavirus or Covid-19 situation does not become normal in the country.

Education minister Dr Dipu Moni has instructed authorities concerned to prepare an alternative method proposal for the promotion of the candidates of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination and other secondary level examinations in different educational institutions, if the coronavirus or Covid-19 situation does not become normal in the country.

Dipu Moni directed the officials of Dhaka Education Board, Department of Secondary and Higher Education, NCT to make this proposal while addressing a meeting at the secretariat on Thursday.

 

The education minister also stressed the need for improving online activities at the university level.

Deputy Minister for Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury, Secretary of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education Mahbub Hossain, Secretary of the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education Aminul Islam Khan along with officials of the Ministry of Education and officials of the departments and agencies under the Ministry of Education were present on the occasion.
