In this result, Ikramul Haque Titu received 1 lakh 35 thousand 959 votes in the clock symbol. Elephant symbol candidate Sadekul Haque Khan Milky Toju got 34 thousand 395 votes, horse symbol candidate Ehteshamul Alam got 10 thousand 643 votes, deer symbol farmer Rezaul Haque got 1458 votes and Jatiya Party nominated plow symbol candidate Shahidul Islam got 1276 votes. Meanwhile, after the announcement of the results, the workers and supporters of Mayor Ikramul Haque Titu are coming out with victory processions in different areas. Meanwhile, the voters started coming to the center from the morning in this election which started from 8 am. However, the large turnout at the polling stations was satisfactory. There was a crowded atmosphere outside the center due to voters and candidates' supporters. Candidates stand outside each center and ask voters for their votes. Outside the center was the election camp of the candidates. Police and Ansar freshmen on duty at the polling stations performed their duties.

However, there was a slight delay in receiving votes in the EVMs. Many people have trouble casting their votes as their fingerprints are not picked up properly in the EVM machines. Such scenes were seen by voters in various centers. According to the polling officers of many centres, polling has been delayed due to various reasons. Fingerprinting is delayed. Hence polling has been slow. Also, in some centers some voters, especially the elderly voters, are embarrassed to vote in EVMs. However, the presence of women voters is significant. At 9:30 am, Mayoral candidate Ikramul Haque Titu voted at Premier Ideal High School, Mayoral candidate Ehteshamul Alam voted at Muslim Girls School, Mayoral candidate Sadequl Haque Khan at Milki Toju Edward School and Shahidul Islam Swapan Mandal of Plow symbol voted at Mritunjay Kendra. On the other hand, after polling at 4 pm, the supporters of the mayor and councilor candidates waited outside the center for Falafor and the supporters of the winning candidate erupted in cheers immediately after the results were announced from the center.

At this time, many activists and supporters hugged the winning candidates with emotion. It is noted that in the Mymensingh City Corporation election, 5 people contested for the post of mayor, 149 people for the post of general councilor of 33 wards, 69 people contested for the post of 11 reserved wards. The number of polling stations is 128. The number in the polling booth is 990. Election duty was 3 thousand 253 officials. The total number of voters is 3 lakh 36 thousand 496. Among them, men are 1 lakh 63 thousand 832, women 1 lakh 72 thousand 655. Meanwhile, in an immediate response, Ikramul Haque Titu said, I am grateful to the people of the city.
