News Desk: Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has criticized the boycott of Indian products announced by BNP. He said, BNP is trying to destabilize our market system in the name of boycott of Indian products.

He said these things in a briefing on Friday at the political office of the Awami League president in Dhanmondi of the capital.

Obaidul Quader said about BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi's throwing away of Indian shawl, BNP leader throwing away shawl is a sign of boycott of Indian products is madness. A major part of our daily necessities comes from India. One leader of BNP wants India's cooperation to save democracy, while another leader calls for boycott of Indian products. In fact, BNP as a political party has lost its way.

Obaidul Quader said that if a political party is bankrupt, it can talk about boycotting the neighboring state. They have to pay for the mistake they made of not coming to the election. So Udo's pindi is pressing on Budho's neck.

He said, I have implemented the border agreement because of good relations with India. India helped us in the liberation war. Now we want their help to save democracy. Boycott of Indian products is madness.

Commenting that BNP has lost its way like a wayfarer, the general secretary of Awami League said that almost all their leaders have come out of jail. So repression is going on? People of Bangladesh do not listen to the call of boycott of BNP.

Obaidul Quader said that when there is no issue for BNP's movement, India is an issue for them. People of Bangladesh who want to boycott Indian products will boycott them. I will keep friendship with India as long as the people and national interests are guaranteed.

Awami League Organizing Secretary BM Mozammel Haque, Deputy Secretary Sayem Khan, Executive Member Anwar Hossain, former Jubo League General Secretary Harunur Rashid and others were present at this time.
