Finally, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader opened his mouth on the issue of Shakib-Al Hasan. On Tuesday (March 19) in the party's central office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital, he said in response to questions from reporters that Shakib won the election from Magura on the Awami League ticket. It does not matter to Awami League whether he has made any party or not.

Obaidul Quader also said, Shakib was not a member of our party before seeking nomination. When taking nomination he has to take primary membership.

He did what needed to be done. Meanwhile, BNP Vice Chairman Major (Retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmad said in a press conference at his home in Banani on Tuesday that Shakib Al Hasan himself expressed his desire to join BNM. He came to me and expressed his desire to join politics.
