6 arrested with gambling equipment in Kurigram

Kurigram Correspondent: The police arrested 6 people while gambling along with gambling equipment and cash in Kurigram's Nageshwari. According to the police, on the night of November 20, a police patrol of Nageshwari police station, on the basis of secret information, from Balatari village of Nageshwari municipality, Md. Noor Islam (48) of Panakuri village, Md. Zahidul Islam (42) of Balatari village, Md. Sarpesh Ali (56), Md. Shahjahan Ali (45) ), Shajahan Ali (48) and Md Shah Alam (45) were arrested along with gambling equipment and cash.

Kurigram district police media spokesperson Additional Superintendent of Police (promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police) Md. Ruhul Amin said, "In Kurigram, we are arresting gamblers in remote areas almost every day. I am making people aware in various ways. Our campaign to eliminate gambling in Kurigram district will continue regularly, we expect everyone's collective cooperation.
