RAB arrested the fugitive accused in the 14 murder case

Mymensingh Correspondent: RAB has arrested Siraj Ali (28), the fugitive accused in the murder case of Julekha Begum (55) for eating bean sprouts in goats of Phulpur Upazila of Mymensingh.

He was arrested from Phulpur Bazar area around eleven o'clock on Monday night. Siraj Ali is the son of Sharaf Uddin of Raghunathpur area of ​​Phulpur upazila.

RAB-14 Mymensingh operations officer Md. Anwar Hossain gave this information through a press release on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the review of the statement and local sources, there was a family dispute with the family of Sujan Mia and neighbor Siraj Ali for a long time, including land.

On the day of the incident on October 8, Sujan Mia's mother died at approximately 4:30 pm. A goat of Julekha Begum. Wahhab eats bean plants. When Wahab got angry and beat the goat, Julekha Begum protested. At one stage of the argument between the two, Wahab and some others came to the scene with sticks, iron rods, Ram Das and other native weapons. Meanwhile, Wahab kicked Julekha Begum's back and seriously injured her with an iron rod.

When Julekha Begum's self-screaming people came forward, they also beat her up. Later, the family immediately took Julekha Begum to Phulpur Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared her dead. In this incident, Julekha Begum's son. Sujan Mia (37) filed a murder case with Phulpur police station as the plaintiff. The accused went into hiding after the murder.

In this continuation, on the basis of secret information, RAB's raid team on Monday (09-10-23) night from Phulpur Bazar area, the absconding accused of the case Md. Siraj was able to arrest Ali. He has been handed over to Phulpur police station.
