News Desk: Minister of Education Dr. Deepu Moni says, smart learning requires a smart environment. Bangladesh has made significant progress in expanding educational opportunities over the past decade. The government is working to bring changes in the education sector. The education minister said that it is true that there are no broken fences or tin sheds in any school, it is also true that all schools do not have high-quality infrastructure. So I have to keep in mind whether I can create a good environment for students even in schools that do not have good facilities. He said these things while addressing the chief guest at the Glenrich International School (GIS) campus opening ceremony on Thursday (April 6) afternoon. The school was launched by STS Group to promote the concept of 'School of Life' and prepare students for the future.

In the event, the Education Minister said that STS Group started its journey in Bangladesh in 1997. Since its inception, they have continued to strive to provide international quality education in the country by adopting various innovative methods. And to achieve this goal, they have ISD and DPS. The group has launched another world-class educational institution called Glenrich with the concept of 'School of Life'. He further said, "Am Biswas will incorporate the culture and beliefs of Bangladesh in the teaching method of the school and will play an important role in preparing the students for the future." Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi was present as Guest of Honor and Deputy Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury was present as special guest.

Acting British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Matt Cannell, National University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Moshiur Rahman, US International Schools Services (ISS) Director Steve Plisinski and STS Group Chairman Bob Kundanmal. STS Group CEO Manas Singh and Glenrich International School Principal Ramesh Mugdal were also present. Other dignitaries and STS group members were present on the occasion. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said, “We are delighted to see the wonderful campus of Glenrich and to know the concept that the school will work on. Bangladesh is progressing consistently in various sectors including the education sector. I sincerely hope this trend of growth continues.

STS Group Chairman Bob Kundanmal said, We are committed to continuously invest in providing the highest quality education for the future generations of Bangladesh. Our mission is to prepare the youth of Bangladesh to bring them on a global competitive level. And to that end, we have come up with the 'School of Life' concept and advanced curriculum, which will help the youth acquire the skills they need for the future. Steve Plisinski, Director of International Schools Services (ISS) USA, said, “We are very excited about the launch of Glenrich International School. ISS will work closely with school management authorities to ensure that students of the school are provided the highest quality education at all levels.

Acting British High Commissioner in Bangladesh Matt Cannell said, STS Group has inaugurated the Premium Cambridge Curriculum School. It is very happy. STS Group has plans to open Glenrich International School in other locations in Bangladesh in the future. I applaud them for that. Note that Glenrich School will work on the 'School of Life' concept, where students will learn about academic subjects and take lessons in creative development in a relaxed and appropriate environment. The student curriculum will include French language courses in collaboration with Alliance Française and will teach StemRobo robotics. Math Buddies will be facilitated through the school's Math Lab and music lessons will be provided by the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music.
