Chaa union protest rally in Mymensingh demanding reduction in price of educational materials

Kafi Khan, Mymensingh: The Mymensingh District Students' Union held a protest rally on three-point demands including reducing the price of educational materials. Today, at 4 pm in the city's traditional Feroze Jahangir premises, the general secretary of the district students' union, Gokul Sutradhar Manik, presided over the meeting. 

The speakers in the protest rally said that by increasing the price of educational materials, education is being practically made into a rich class. The speaker also said that this government is making the infamous Sharif Education Commission of Pakistan a reality. 62- Students have experience in education movement. Speakers also commented that the student society will fail the attempt to convert education into a commodity in the style of Iron Man Ayub. 

Shushant Debnath Khokon, one of the members of the Central Committee of Bangladesh Agricultural Laborers Association and Vice President of Mymensingh District Agricultural Laborers Association, General Secretary of Bangladesh Farmers Association Mymensingh District Committee Motahar Hossain, General Secretary of Communist Party of Bangladesh Mymensingh City Committee Al Amin Ahmed June spoke in solidarity.
