News Desk: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has commented that BNP leaders do not agree with the 'all' of neutral elections. He said, "Their leader (Khaleda Zia) once said that no one is neutral except children and madmen, so the politics of duplicity in the words of BNP leaders about neutral elections has become clear again." He said these things at the end of the exchange meeting regarding the overall activities of the organization at the head office of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) on Monday (July 18). If the current government does not change and if a neutral government does not come, then there will be no elections in the country - Obaidul Quader said in reference to Mirza Fakhrul Islam's comments, "The BNP government wants change, but it does not come to the elections." If you want to change the government, you have to come to the elections. There is no chance to change the government without elections. BNP leaders repeatedly talk about neutral government. People have already seen BNP's so-called impartial elections." Awami League general secretary said, "The government will support the EC in organizing a free and fair election like in other democratic countries. Even if the government is in power, everything related to elections will be under the EC. EC is neutral to BNP only when they get 100% guarantee of winning the elections.” Obaidul Quader also said, "The issue of the government during the election is a settled issue by the High Court. There is no chance of renegotiating this. Elections will be fair only if Sheikh Hasina is there. He does not want any kind of interference in the election.”
