News Desk: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that people have no 'joy' to return home on Eid due to misery. "Are you talking about communication systems, especially trains? Do they have any authority?" Is there any authority? Doesn't seem to have. On the road you have seen how accidents happen every day. Disruption of train schedule, without delay, late coming-and-going. The bottom line is that this government has no authority anywhere. This is the suffering of the people, they have no joy. The BNP secretary general made the remarks while talking to reporters after visiting the grave of party founder Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Sunday (July 10th) morning. "What we mean by this government is that there is no good governance, no governance," he added. On the one hand, their goal is to corrupt and in fact they are turning the country into a failed state. Mirza Fakhrul said, "You have bragged so much about electricity that today you have to do load shedding for three hours, four hours." The main reason is corruption. Because the power plants that have been brought in have been brought in with completely extra money. No international tender has been issued for the establishment of these projects and a law has been enacted that if any complaint is raised here, no case can be filed, i.e. indemnity has been granted. In the case of any procurement in any civilized country it cannot be in any way. He said that the myth of the development of an unelected government, the smoke they raise, it totally has their two goals. One is to make their pockets heavier through corruption and the other is to confuse the people that they are developing. In fact, there has been no development in this country. Yet the poverty rate in the country has increased. 42% of the people are living below the poverty line. BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia used to visit Ziaur Rahman's grave after finishing her party program. After going to jail in 2016 after being convicted in a corruption case, the party's standing committee has been visiting the grave of the party's founder every Eid to maintain that continuity. BNP standing committee members Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain, Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Nazrul Islam Khan and others were present at the time.
