10 accused arrested in different cases in Anwara

Anwara (Chittagong) Correspondent: 10 accused in various cases including robbery, murder, drug dealer and fight have been arrested in Anwara of Chittagong. They were arrested on Thursday (May 26) night in a special police operation from different areas of the upazila. The arrested are: Md. Yasin (34), accused in multiple robbery cases, fugitive accused Nur Mohammad (38), Nur Kashem (55), Ehsanur Sagar (20), Anwara Begum Prakash Monowara (45), convicted accused Rifu Akter (45), Md. Zahidul Alam (32) accused in the murder case under Road Transport Act, Rupon Das and Ranu Das (45) accused in the domestic violence case. During the arrest, 200 pieces of yaba were also recovered from Abdur Rahim (42). Officer-in-charge of Anwara Police Station SM Didarul Islam Sikder said the arrested accused had a court warrant. They are involved in various crimes. There are multiple cases against them. They were handed over to the court on Friday.
