University student commits suicide by writing notes

News Desk: Police have recovered the hanging body of a student of a private university named Ibn Nur Pragya of Jubayer in Gauripur of Mymensingh. The body was recovered from Kalipur Madhyam Taraf area of ​​the municipal town around 11pm on Thursday (February 10).

The deceased was identified as Ibn Nur, son of Nur Mohammad Kalon, president of Maoha Union Awami League and former chairman of Union Parishad. Jubayer is an LLB Masters student at Eastern University, Dhaka. According to police and local sources, Jubayer committed suicide by hanging himself from the wall of his room on the night of the incident.

Later, his family members rescued him and took him to the Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. Gauripur police SI confirmed the matter. Nazrul Islam said the cause of death was being investigated. He also said that notes were written at the time of death. Details will be revealed later, he said.
